No I’m not talking about the Cher single. Not after such a long hiatus with personal blogging. It’s funny that I’ve been busy setting up and promoting a corporate blog but didn’t find the time/inclination to write my personal blog!
“If only I could turn back time” (and make some posts!) Maybe a story, so here goes..
This is the story of a maverick scientist who created a time machine that could take him in the past and that’s not all. He could also control the body of anyone he chose to while in that era. He performed all the laboratory tests and was very satisfied with the results. Now he needed to do a pilot. Something real. He wanted to change a significant historical event to prove the prowess of his latest invention. He chose the Titanic.
So he became the captian of Titanic and set ‘himself’ aboard the, what was supposed to be, a fateful journey. He tried everything in the world he could - including limiting the speed but he saw the end coming this time around as well! And lo he quit the mission and came out to the present time. He tried a couple more times but failed each time.
It’s a pathetic story. I’m not a story teller. But the message is that even if you could turn back time not much will change. We do not have to always distrust ourselves for the events that happened in the past. We do not have to always think that we could have done it better then. We couldn’t have. All we can do is do it better the next time. The next time is today. So no crying over the spilled milk - let’s live it. Cheers!

I loved it - Sam, that was really motivating. I guess there is a next time for everything and that sure is a reason enough to live and live happily.
